The first step

Sometimes simply starting is the most difficult step.

Indeed with Lyghtondown "Starting" was something that we attempted more than once. The first few pictures date from its initial conception when the base board were initially made and we had no real idea of what the destination was.

The later pictures are much more recent and show progress being made, but also a complete change in track design finally grasping (thanks to Jane) a finer handle on how much track looks right.
